A great vintage for Lafite means a great vintage for Carruades, and here we have it! Loads of ripe red fruit, quite round and wilted floral character. Wet river stones over sweet fruit. Palate has deep sweet jam and a bit of game. Nice tannins; quite smooth and elegant.
